Quartz glass retains heat better and longer. Signs of wear, such as those that occur with borosilicate glass with frequent use and strong heat exposure, are usually not to be expected with quartz glass due to its low thermal expansion and high thermal shock resistance.

Place the nail on the bong and heat the pan with a burner until red-hot, let it cool briefly, then drizzle the oil onto the pan with the appropriate tool and take a puff while steam develops. A matching dome/dome or carb cap dabber can be placed over the nail to collect the smoke before it is inhaled.

Attention: The head/nail must only be heated at the pan, otherwise there is a risk that the grind will break due to expansion of the material.
