Grow Shop

In the 1950s, marijuana became very popular in the college community of the United States and grow shops were established to offer products for growing cannabis. From the 1980s onwards, legal cannabis cultivation increased in Europe. Enthusiasts and home builders in several countries, such as the Netherlands and later Spain, started new businesses, called "GROWSHOP".

Grow Lights

Discover our high-quality selection of indoor grow lights that you can use to pamper your plants and give them the light they need when natural sunlight isn't available. Matching lamps for clones & seedlings, vegetation or flowering are on offer. If you're having trouble deciding which light you need, come by and we'll be happy to help.

LED Lamps

A full-spectrum LED grow light makes an important contribution to plant growth. They need red and blue spectra, but also infrared and ultraviolet, depending on the vegetative stage. LED lights have many advantages: they don't get very hot and don't require additional fans, they are energy-saving (cost!), and the durability is second to none. Most LED lights have a choice of emitted colors – the best LED lights offer the full range, including UV light.

Depending on the vegetative stage, the plant needs to receive the right amount and time of light (accurate to 15 minutes!). These are:

- Propagation phase: 16 hours day (on), 8 hours night (off)
- Vegetative phase: 18 hours day, 6 hours night
- Flowering phase: 12 hours day, 12 hours night

It is extremely important that light cycles are strictly adhered to, as this can significantly alter the growth and potency of your plants.

Grow Ventilation

If you grow a few plants indoors, you'll soon find that different flavors are emitted from the soil, nutrients, and the plants themselves. The smell can be so distinct that you don't necessarily want to have curious people in your neighborhood turning their noses in your direction.

Conventional household odor neutralizers are not effective enough. Sprays, plug-in air fresheners, and other household products can't mask the aroma of some plants. ONA Gel is a specially blended product that is popular with many growers because it lasts for 4 to 6 weeks. However, do not use these products in the same room as your plants, as they can be absorbed by the plants, which will change the taste of the crop.

Activated carbon filter

Experienced growers use filtration units with activated carbon to really neutralize the air from unwanted odors. They are the only choice for odor control in larger setups with grow tents or dedicated grow rooms. Since these environments require temperature control and air circulation equipment anyway, adding a filtration system is relatively easy. Determine the duct size and flow rate of your ventilation system and choose a filter that fits your system's flow rate. Mount the device in an easily accessible place so that the filters can be easily changed.

NO-Go's

The location for a grow must be chosen carefully. It should be a "save-space", without nosy neighbors, enough space, unobtrusive electricity supply and with good air supply and outlet.

Your plants need fresh, well-circulating air to thrive. Stagnant, poorly conditioned air is a sure recipe for disaster. Do not close off your grow space to contain odors without providing an adequate fresh air and ventilation system. If you are able to ventilate to the outside, this is the best choice for odor control.

Grow Tents

Discover our selection of robust and highly durable grow tents. These tents have been specially made for a healthy indoor garden.

The number of plants you can grow in a given space is controversial among growers. Below are some general guidelines:
75cm x 75cm - 1-2 adult or 4 small plants
150cm x 75cm - 2 adult or 6 small plants
100cm x 50cm - 3 adult or 8 small plants
100cm x 100cm - 4 adult or 16 small plants
120cm x 120cm - 6 mature or 20 small plants

Keep in mind that the more space your plant has to grow, the better yields you'll get. This means that two mature plants in a 1m x 1m tent could yield as much as four mature plants in the same tent. If in doubt, contact us.

Nutrients

How are fertilizers different from growth and flowering promoters? Basic nutrients are the basis of all feeds, while supplements help to improve various elements such as growth or flowering. Basic nutrients generally provide a balanced range of essential elements, including important micronutrients. These basic formulas should be used during a growth cycle from start to finish and are the best choice for healthy plant growth. Supplements or enhancers provide inputs that improve the peak performance of the base nutrient. Each product contains ingredients that have an effect at all stages of growth.
Growth promoters can also help with early root and leaf health to ensure your cannabis plants have the best chance of developing to their full potential during flowering.
Many manufacturers, such as Canna, Jungle Boost, and General Hydroponics, offer nutrient series that combine basic nutrients with growth and bloom enhancers to ensure you have all the elements you need.
