As part of the study, cannabis products may be legally purchased. It will start around the summer of 2024. 250 people can take part in the study in Lucerne. Participants are regularly surveyed about consumer behaviour and health protection.
The study examines the impact of regulated cannabis sales on the consumption behaviour and health of cannabis users. For cannabis users, tobacco use, in joints or cigarettes, is the most common preventable cause of disease. Through controlled cannabis sales, trained sales staff can offer advice and support.
In contrast to dispensing in Lucerne pharmacies, an equally exciting project of a Cannabis Social Club is underway in Zurich. In the Hanfstübli, participants can buy and hopefully soon consume in a quiet atmosphere. Further information:
